Tough Questions

What does the Bible say about homosexuality?  What about gay marriage?  How can we know the Bible is reliable?  Why does Christianity claim to be the only way?  Why can't other religions lead to God?  Is abortion wrong?  What about war?  Why do bad things happen to good people?

This Sunday we are starting a series in our High School ministry entitled "Tough Questions".  We know that some students are dealing with these questions in their life now, and that most will wrestle with these questions some time in their life.  We want to discuss a foundation for future conflict in covering these questions.  We want our students to have wrestled with some aspect of these questions to better prepare them for the future opportunities they'll have to express their views in the world.

We know that most students can probably express their opinion on the topics listed above, but probably don't know exactly where their opinion developed from.  We will dive into Scripture to get an accurate picture of what the Bible teaches on these topics while discussing common views on each.  This series is open to all High School students who want a safe place to discuss and ask questions about these topics.

Hope to see you Sunday,
Tim

  1. Such important questions that religious leaders tend to leave unanswered. Thank you Tim for being willing to address the tough stuff in a Biblical way.
